Description
Seka Seamount is located at 2¿ 27.7' S, 179¿ 6.0' E and is part of the Gilberts Ridge region on the Pacific Plate. It is 2752 m high with the top at -2700 m and the ocean bottom at -5423 m. The seamount has a volume of 2281 km3 and is fairly round with little elongation or irregularity of the edges. The westward trending rift extends further than the measurement, and is very faint. Some volcanism appears to be present.
