| Description | Fakarava Atoll is located at 16¿ 12.5' S, 145¿ 39.3' W and is part of the Tuamotu Seamount Trail on the Pacific Plate. It is 1170 m high with the top at -150 m and ocean bottom at -1320 m. The seamount is fairly small with a volume of 1879 km3. It is relatively round and smooth with little elongation or irregularity. The azimuth is at approximately 111¿. |
