Description
Nihiru Atoll is located at 16¿ 43.5' S, 142¿ 50.9' W and is part of the Tuamotu Seamount Trail on the Pacific Plate. It is 1730 m high with the top at -205 m and ocean bottom at -1935 m. The seamount is fairly small with a volume of 1118 km3. It is relatively round and smooth with little elongation or irregularity. The azimuth is at approximately 212¿.
