 | | Description | | Amanu Atoll is located at 17¿ 48.3' S, 140¿ 46.3' W and is part of the Tuamotu Seamount Trail on the Pacific Plate. It is 3360 m high with the top at -115 m and ocean bottom at -3475 m. The seamount is fairly small with a volume of 4421 km3. It is moderately elongated in a northeast, southwest direction with an azimuth of 49¿. The edges of the seamount are relatively smooth. |
