Description
Tamana Seamount is located at 2¿ 28.0' S, 175¿ 57.9' E and is part of the Gilberts Ridge region on the Pacific Plate. It is 3309 m high with the top at -1000 m and the ocean bottom at -4309 m. The seamount has a volume of 1949 km3 and is slightly elongated with an azimuth of approximately 151¿. The edges are fairly smooth and the summit is located along the southern edge of the seamount. To the northeast of Tamana is Tuba Seamount.
