Description
Gardner Volcanic Island is located at 4¿ 42.0' S, 174¿ 30.3' W and is part of the Tokelau Seamounts on the Pacific Plate. It is 4584 m high with the top at -600 m and the ocean bottom at -5184 m. The seamount has a volume of 7506 km3 and is slightly elongated with an azimuth of approximately 161¿. The edges of the volcano are relatively smooth and no dominate rifts are seen.
