Description
Manatu Seamount is located at 13¿ 23.8' S, 179¿ 16.2' W and is part of the Samoan Hotspot Trail on the Pacific Plate. The seamount is 1590 m high with the top at -470 m and the ocean bottom at -2060 m. It is fairly small with a volume of 1560 km3. The seamount is slightly elongated in a southeast, northwest direction with an azimuth of approximately 140¿. The edges of the seamount are highly irregular.
