Description
Kaukura Atoll is located at 15¿ 40.4' S, 146¿ 43.4' W and is part of the Tuamotu Seamount Trail on the Pacific Plate. It is 805 m high with the top at sealevel and ocean bottom at -805 m. The seamount is fairly small with a volume of 1463 km3. It is slightly elongated in a southeast, northwest direction with an azimuth of 110¿. The edges of the seamount are relatively smooth.
