Description
Faaite Atoll is located at 16¿ 43.4' S, 145¿ 12.7' W and is part of the Tuamotu Seamount Trail on the Pacific Plate. It is 1925 m high with the top at sealevel and ocean bottom at -1925 m. The seamount is fairly small with a volume of 1353 km3. It is moderately elongated in a east, west direction with an azimuth of 93¿. The edges of the seamount are relatively smooth.
