Description
Hao Atoll is located at 18¿ 20.3' S, 140¿ 50.9' W and is part of the Tuamotu Seamount Trail on the Pacific Plate. It is 3190 m high with the top at sealevel and the ocean bottom at -3190 m. The seamount is large with a volume of 11088 km3. It is slightly elongated in a southeast, northwest direction with an azimuth of approximately 135¿. The edges of the seamount are moderately irregular.
