The dredge on Telematua came back with basalt. After dredging we went near the summit and found a much shallower depth than the 700 m on the charts. We proceeded South and dredged Funafuti twice (to cover this large structure). The dredges did not yield large numbers of samples, but enough to work with on each one. The next dredge targets were due South: two seamounts coined Pae and Foamatau.
