Passing by Hall Island (north of Chuuk) on the north side. The clearance for the Federated States of Micronesia requires a minimum distance from land of 12 nautical miles, so we are passing by the islands at just over that distance. Interestingly, the base of the volcanoes looks a bit like a stack of lava flows, similar to what has been described for the Galapagos platform. Mapped around Minto Reef.
