Today was an eventful day, for life on a ship. Today was the first day that any shipboard videoconferencing happened. We did a trial run connecting to High Tech High, and it went off without a hitch (though there was no video camera on that end). An enormous (1200 lbs) dredge came up, and everything seems golden. We're heading into port tomorrow, and we'll be doing the real video conference as well.

We all look forward to port, and it will be a relief. So close to the end of the cruise, we are realizing that we had to do homework out here, and there is a push to finish all of that stuff. Then again, we could just do it on the plane ... Hah.  Cleanup is going on, and we're going to have some visitors on the ship in a few days so everything is being shoved into the closets and boxes.
