Description
The software tool ArArCALIBRATION provides an interactive interface to the recalibration of ages in 40Ar/39Ar geochronology towards other age standards or newly calibrated standards. ArArCALIBRATION is coded within Visual Basic for Excel 97-2000-XP-2003-2011 using a simple dialogbox interface. This program works independently from the ArArCALC software package which has the same functionality build-in as well. For a full list of features please visit the ArArCALC website. |

Instructions Open the ArArCALIBRATION.xls file in Microsoft Excel and enable macros. Click on the button to start your age recalibration. Most settings will be automatically loaded and saved when performing the recalibrations. The same settings can also be exported by the user for future use. These standard text files with the *.clb extension can be imported in both ArArCALC and ArArCALIBRATION. After completing the editboxes click on the recalculate button to perform the recalibrations. On the lowerleft corner you will find 5 possible options for different kind of recalibrations. |
