Description
The main purpose of this work is to obtain a key paleomagnetic pole for the Itape mafic dykes,Sao Francisco Craton. In the field, 148 oriented cylinders were collected from 20 sites near the ItapÃÂé city. The ASM measurements were performed in AGICO KappaBridge model MKF1-FA. The AARM measurements were performed using AGICO LDA-3A demagnetizer and JR6 magnetometer. The Thermomagnetic Curves were performed in AGICO Kappabridge KLY-4S, connected to a temperature control unit (CS4 and CSL). The IRM, Hysteresis and FORC were performed on the MicroMagâÃÂâ 3900 Series vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). The AF demagnetizations were performed using AGICO LDA-3A demagnetizer and JR6 magnetometer. And some of them were performed in a 2G Enterprises superconducting cryogenic magnetometer (Long - Core system). The thermal demagnetizations were performed in the TD48 thermal demagnetizer from ASC Scientific and JR6 magnetometer. |
