Description
Jarvis Island is located at 0¿ 23.4' S, 159¿ 59.5' W and is part of the Line Islands on the Pacific Plate. It is 4580 m high with the top at sealevel and ocean bottom at -4580 m. The seamount is fairly small with a volume of 4088 km3. It is fairly round with smooth edges and little elongation or irregularity. The azimuth is at approximately 127¿.
