Description
Apataki Atoll is located at 15¿ 27.5' S, 146¿ 21.5' W and is part of the Tuamotu Seamount Trail on the Pacific Plate. It is 1485 m high with the top at sealevel and ocean bottom at -1485 m. The seamount is fairly small with a volume of 2616 km3. It is moderately elongated in a northeast, southwest direction with an azimuth of 59¿. The edges of the seamount are relatively smooth.
