Description
Raroia Atoll is located at 15¿ 59.9' S, 142¿ 19.3' W and is part of the Tuamotu Seamount Trail on the Pacific Plate. It is 2410 m high with the top at -275 m and ocean bottom at -2685 m. The seamount is intermediate in size with a volume of 5860 km3. It is very elongated in a northeast, southwest direction with an azimuth of 221¿. The edges of the seamount are relatively smooth.
