Description
Amber Seamount is located at 24¿ 59.1' S, 271¿ 26.3' E and is part of the Sala y Gomez region on the Nazca Plate. It is 2450 m high with the top at -310 m and ocean bottom at -2760 m. The seamount is fairly smalll with a volume of 1762 km3. It is moderately elongated in a east, west direction with an azimuth of approximately 95¿. The edges of the seamount are fairly smooth with little irregularity.
