Description
New Seamount is located at 25¿ 20.4' S, 274¿ 51.7' E and is part of the Sala y Gomez region on the Nazca Plate. It is 2615 m high with the top at -725 m and ocean bottom at -3340 m. The seamount is fairly small with a volume of 1036 km3. It is relatively round with little elongation and an azimuth of approximately 157¿. The edges of the seamount are slightly irregular.
