Description
Western Seamount is located at 25¿ 35.1' S, 273¿ 7.6' E and is part of the Sala y Gomez region on the Nazca Plate. It is 2640 m high with the top at -515 m and ocean bottom at -3155 m. The seamount is very small with a volume of 682 km3. It is moderately elongated in a southeast, northwest direction with an azimuth of approximately 109¿. The edges of the seamount are moderately irregular.
