BoundParticles after washing
These tubes are the result of an experimet that shows manganese associated bacteria stay with magnetic beads. Suzanna has developed an organic molecule that binds the manganese oxide and associated microbes to the magnetic beads. The tube on the left contains manganese oxides from the mat, the center tube contains magnetic beads that were not coated with Dr. Suz's molecule, and the tube on the right contains the molecule and the microbes that have been pulled from the sample by the magnetic beads.
