Description
This image displays geomagnetic-polarity epochs and their correlation to an age in millions of years and a specific magnetic anomaly. The age of the seafloor is based on K-Ar dating. Blue anomalies represent normal magnetic polarities and red anomalies are reversed magnetic polarities.
