Description
Data from an aeromagnetic survey over the Reykjanes Ridge. The data was used to create a map of seven magnetic profiles. Profile numbers, used for identification, are at the west end of the cross sections. This map illustrates the strengths and reversals of the Earth's magnetic field. Profile 22 in the map is also illustrated in Magnetic Polarity and Ocean Depth Plotted Against Longitude Along the Reykjanes Ridge. Adapted from Figure 3 in Heirtzler et al. (1966).
