Description
Geomagnetic field cutoff rigidity over the last one hundred thousand years.

Effective vertical cutoff rigidity (in unit GV) Rc100k, from 100 ka BP - 0 ka BP, at time steps of 200 years before 10 ka, and 50 years after 10 ka, global grids 5 deg in latitude and 5 deg in longitude. Latitude grid -85:5:85; Longitude grid 0:5:360; Lines are latitude from -85 to 85 in 5 degree steps; Columns are longitude from 0 to 360 in 5 degree steps
Cutoff rigidity estimates from the models CALS10k.2; GGFSS70; LSMOD.2; and GGF100k are also available in the same format.

Details can be found in the manuscript: Gao, J., Korte, M., Panovska, S., Rong, Z. & Wei, Y. (2022). Geomagnetic field shielding effect over the last one hundred thousand years. (10.1051/swsc/2022027)
