Description
This distribution contains the pfm9k.2 geomagnetic field model and datafiles as presented in A. Nilsson, N. Suttie, J. S. Stoner and R. Muscheler (2022): Recurrent ancient geomagnetic field anomalies shed light on future evolution of the South Atlantic Anomaly PNAS, doi/10.1073/pnas.XXXXXXXXXX. Please see this publication for details on the model.

The distribution contains a zip file with two packages:

pfm9k2_coeffs: text files containing Gauss coefficients from posterior mean model and 100 samples.

pfm9k2_Matlab: Matlab datafiles containing model parameters and data as well as Matlab scripts to plot model-data comparisons and to calculate model time series of declination, inclination and intensity at given coordinates.
