Description
This bathymetric map of the Atlantic Ocean shows the changes in depth along the continental coastlines and throughout the seafloor. The blue and purple coloration represents deeper parts of the ocean, while the Mid-Atlantic Ridge is highlighted as the bright green feature located in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. The data on the map can be interpreted to find seamount locations, convergent boundaries and slow/fast spreading ridges (divergent boundaries). |
