A species description and habitat characterization for the calcitic deep-sea gorgonian Isidella tentaculum, found on seamount summits from 700-1150 m deep in the Northeast Pacific. The skeletal axes have proven useful for radiometric and biomaterial studies, and hold good potential for biological investigations. |
