Description
Washington or Teraina Island is located at 4¿ 41.4' N, 160¿ 22.2' W and is part of the Line Islands on the Pacific Plate. It is 2560 m high with the top at -360 m and ocean bottom at -2920 m. The seamount is fairly small with a volume of 2187 km3. It is very elongated in an southeast, northwest direction with an azimuth of approximately 115¿. The edges of the seamount are relatively smooth.
