| Description | Field Bank is located at 12¿ 15.6' S, 174¿ 40.2' W and is part of the Samoan Hotspot Trail on the Pacific Plate. It is a large, shallow, flat topped, volcanic ridge. To the north Field Bank is connected to the smaller Taviuni Bank, which has a similar strike and morphology. Approximately 150 km to the southeast of Field Bank is Savaii Island. |
