| Description | Upolu Island is located at 13¿ 54' S, 171¿ 50.1' W and is part of the Samoan Hotspot Trail on the Pacific Plate. The Island is 3865 m tall from sealevel to the ocean bottom at -3865 m. It is very large with a volume of 30673 km3. It is moderately elongated in an east west direction with an azimuth of approximately 105¿. The edges of the seamount are moderately irregular. |
