| Description | Mataiva Atoll is located at 14¿ 55.6' S, 148¿ 39.4' W and is part of the Tuamotu Seamount Trail on the Pacific Plate. It is 2900 m high with the top at sealevel and ocean bottom at -2900 m. The seamount is fairly small with a volume of 4030 km3. It is slightly elongated in a southeast, northwest direction with an azimuth of 124¿. The edges of the seamount are relatively smooth. |
