Description
Fangatau Atoll is located at 15¿ 48.6' S, 140¿ 51.5' W and is part of the Tuamotu Seamount Trail on the Pacific Plate. It is 1650 m high with the top at -60 m and ocean bottom at -1710 m. The seamount is fairly small with a volume of 1546 km3. It is relatively round and smooth with little elongation or irregularity. The azimuth is at approximately 73¿.
