Description
Tapu Atoll is located at 15¿ 54.1' S, 146¿ 1.8' W and is part of the Tuamotu Seamount Trail on the Pacific Plate. It is 1370 m high with the top at sealevel and ocean bottom at -1370 m. The seamount is fairly small with a volume of 2310 km3. It is slightly elongated in a southeast, northwest direction with an azimuth of 106¿. The edges of the seamount are relatively smooth.
