| | Description | | Moruroa Atoll is located at 21¿ 51' S, 138¿ 50' W and is part of the Tuamotu Seamount Trail on the Pacific Plate. It is 3325 m high with the top at -295 m and ocean bottom at -3620 m. The seamount is intermediate in size with a volume of 8514 km3. It is elongated in a northeast, southwest direction with an azimuth of 72¿. The edges of the seamount are relatively smooth. |
