Description
Sala y Gomez Island is located at 26¿ 26.4' S, 254¿ 35.8' E and is part of the Sala y Gomez region on the Nazca Plate. It is 3135 m high with the top at sealevel and ocean bottom at -3135 m. The seamount is intermediate in size with a volume of 5718 km3. It is elongated in an east, west direction with an azimuth of approximately 95¿. The edges are moderately irregular.
