Description
Umu Seamount is located at 26¿ 57.8' S, 248¿ 59.4' E and is part of the Sala y Gomez region on the Nazca Plate. It is 1495 m high with the top at -1250 m and ocean bottom at -2745 m. The seamount is very small with a volume of 796 km3. It is moderately elongated in a northeast, southwest direction with an azimuth of approximately 74¿. The edges of the seamount are moderately irregular.
