Description
SONNE 167 Volcano 33, SMNT-276S-1742W is located at 27¿ 37.2'S, 174¿ 13.6'W and is part of the Louisville Ridge on the Pacific Plate. The seamount is 3985 m high with the top at -1090 m and the ocean bottom at -5075 m. It is intermediate in size with a volume of 9316 km3 and a basal diameter of approximately 40 by 25 km. The guyot is relatively round with an azimuth of approximately 133¿. The edges of the seamount are slightly irregular and it has prominent ridges extending out to the northwest and east-northeast.
