| Description | SONNE 167 Volcano x, SMNT-361S-1695W is located at 36¿ 4.4' S, 169¿ 31.9' W and is part of the Louisville Ridge on the Pacific Plate. The seamount is 4040 m high with the top at -825 m and the ocean bottom at -4865 m. It is intermediate in size with a volume of 9016 km3. The guyot is elongated in a northeast-southwest direction with an azimuth of approximately 220¿. The edges of the the guyot are slightly irregular. It has a short ridge extending to the northwest and prominent 40 km long ridge extending to the southwest. The southwestern ridge has several volcanic centers and gradually curves to have a south-southwest trend. |
