Mesa vistas in McMurdo Sound
Icebergs in the sea-ice define a landscape that is not unlike the mesas of Arizona (ignoring temperatures). The sea-ice at the edge of the icebergs cracks allowing seals to surface and frolick on the sea ice (the black slugs on the ice).
