Deploying bacterial trap 63
Bacterial trap 63 is being place over a hot water vent in Pele's Pit. The densities of the hot vent water and the and the cold ambient sea water differ enough that light is bent travelling. from cold to warm and back again. The result is the shimmering visible above the trap.
