Description
This diagram combines three 40Ar/39Ar age spectra for hornblende, biotite and K-feldspar minerals separated from one Grenville Diorite in the Haliburton Highlands, Ontario. Although the minerals formed in the same rock, the ages are distinctly different, reflecting different blocking temperatures. Modified after Berger & York 1981.
