McDonald, F.B. and Lal, N. (1986). Variations of galactic cosmic rays with heliolatitude in the outer heliosphere. Geophysical Research Letters 13: doi: 10.1029/GL013i008p00781. issn: 0094-8276.

On 1 January, 1986, Voyager 1 was at a heliolatitude of 30¿ above the ecliptic plane at a radial distance of 25.4 AU. The galactic cosmic ray latitudinal gradients in the outer heliosphere measured at that time were found to be negative, ~1-2%/AU, show no strong energy dependence and are approximately half the radial gradient.
