Kamra, A.K. (1989). Charge transfer by point discharge below dust storms. Geophysical Research Letters 16: doi: 10.1029/88GL04017. issn: 0094-8276.

Measurements of point discharge current from an artificial point raised below dust storms at Roorkee (India) show that in this area a negative charge of 1177 C/Km2/year can be transferred to earth by this process alone. Although, this process can operate only in particular regions of earth surface, the net charge transfer to earth in such regions is debatable. ¿ American Geophysical Union 1989
