We present in this paper one of the first high resolution analysis of temperature profiles measured in the lower stratosphere. The temperature fluctuations level is shown to depend only on the static stability. Moreover, in the 12--1,500 m vertical wavelength range, the temperature spectrum has a mean slope around -2.3, a value significantly above the -3 saturated model value. ¿ American Geophysical Union 1989 |
