In this paper I present a method that uses multiple ocean bottom instruments to separate variations in seismic amplitudes and travel times caused by near-source topography and variable source amplitudes from similar variations related to the overall one-dimensional seismic structure. The results indicate that the standard correction for topography, sediment thickness, and source size can be improved with this method, reducing uncertainties in the velocity solution. ¿ American Geophysical Union 1991 |
