A method has been developed for merging GLORIA and Hydrosweep data into single combined sidescan-type images, by adding a shadel relief representation of the seafloor topography to the near-nadir part of the GLORIA image, which is usually poorly insonified. Several examples are presented, taken from a variety of seafloor terrains. ¿ American Geophysical Union 1992 |
