Fiedler, M., Frank, H., Gomer, T., Hausmann, M., Pfeilsticker, K. and Platt, U. (1993). Groundbased spectroscopic measurements of stratospheric NO2 and OClO in Arctic winter 1989/90. Geophysical Research Letters 20: doi: 10.1029/92GL00008. issn: 0094-8276.

During January and February 1990 groundbased UV/visible spectroscopic observations of direct moon light and zenith scattered sun light were performed near Kiruna, Sweden at 67.9¿N, 21.1¿E. From the measured differential absorption of NO2 and OClO the corresponding slant column abundances were determined and converted to vertical column densities using airmass factors evaluated by a ray tracing model. Upper limits for the stratospheric NO2 column of 0.4--0.9⋅1015/cm2 were deduced and elevated levels of OClO could be detected during Feb. 6--8. ¿ American Geophysical Union 1993
