The geometry and the magnetic field of the magnetotail neutral sheet at -4RE>X>-21RE are studied with ISEE-2 magnetometer data. Neutral sheet crossings are determined using a local coordinate system. We show the position of the neutral sheet after the effect of tilt angle is removed, and construct a smooth model to fit it. ¿ American Geophysical Union 1994
