Observations of SL9 impacts with an infrared camera on the 1 meter telescope at Pic-du-Midi has provided images in filters J, H and K, which show the temporal evolution of the impact sites, in particular at an early stage. The light curves of impacts H and L are presented here; they exhibit similar characteristics, with three successive maxima, corresponding to a succession of atmospheric phenomena following an impact. ¿ American Geophysical Union 1995 |
